Nice shot, Dave! I like the way that leaf-tip laps onto the newt’s head.
Thanks, Larry! S/he was moving fast, so this was a combination of serendipity and judicious cropping, but I would be very pleased if all my wildlife photos came out like this, with the critter just part of the overall composition.
The tail position suggests that the three curves of stick/stem/newt spray from a single source. Great photograph.
It is clear,very good.
